Welcome To The Chapel
We hope you'll join us for a weekend service to see for yourself what we're about. At The Chapel, we feel that it's our responsibility to clear the way for you to come to church. We want to make you feel welcomed and comfortable - to experience great worship music, meaningful and encouraging messages, friendly people and an enjoyable atmosphere. Our mission is to bring you closer to God, to other people, and to a meaningful relationship with Jesus. And we know that if it's your first visit to The Chapel, or any church, you're bound to have some questions such as: How do I get there what should I wear whats available for my kids what should I expect in church?
Here is a quick look at what you can expect at The Chapel:
How Do I Get There?
When Should I Arrive?
It is wise to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start of each service. Since the main worship center often fills up quickly, you want to give yourself plenty of time for parking and to register children into the Nursery or Kids Celebration areas. In the event the worship center or the Reflections venue are filled, you can find a great seat in "The Balcony" or the Cafe'. Both are comfortably equipped with state of the art audio and video feeds.
What should I expect when I visit The Chapel?
Through drama, multi-media presentations, contemporary music and practical messages, we present the ageless truths of the Bible in a format that's easy to understand, even if you've never been to church. You'll experience meaningful music, dramatic presentations, and practical relevant messages that help you cope with real life issues and learn about the God of the Bible. You'll receive a helpful outline of the weekend message including biblical references - with room to take notes. Feel free to bring a Bible and learn together with others just like you. Maybe you question whether God even exists or you think He does but are not sure - That's OK - you're always welcome to be our guest. Our mission is to help you connect with
the personal hope and practical help that only God can give us. Each weekend message is recorded and is available on CD for future reference.
What's a venue?
The Chapel offers multiple worship style experiences featuring live musicians. If you enjoy the energy of a full contemporary worship band in a larger room then "Chapel Live" may be a great place to start. If you prefer a smaller quieter venue you may want to check out "Reflections". The Reflections experience features a softer acoustic style of music with seating for about 100. The pastor's message is fed via video and includes the same notes and graphics found in Chapel Live.
How Should I Dress?
Casual. At The Chapel, we're more concerned with meeting your real life needs and fostering an environment of genuine authenticity than with what you wear. So dress comfortably and you'll fit right in.
What's available for my children?
We know that as a parent you need be sure that your kids are in a safe learning environment. And we know that your children are looking for a fun place to learn. A lot of attention and resources have been put into seeing that both of these goals are being reached. You'll observe this in the Kids Celebration (KC) wing that the children meet in, and even more in the volunteers who serve your kids each week.
After The Service
After the services feel free to hang out at the Common Ground coffee shop and get to know others at The Chapel.
